A contract with the President of the Football Club “Rudar” Breza, one of the clubs covered by the Law on Clubs of Special Relevance for the CPC is signed at the Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton today.
– Investing in sports is not a cost, but a strategic investment in health, education and social development of young people. Through the increase in the Budget for Sports to 5 million KM, we clearly show our commitment that sports and young people get a well-deserved place among the priorities of the ZDK. We put special emphasis on the development of youth selections, because it is exactly where future sports successes begin and create the foundations of the representative capacities of our country. FC “Rudar” Breza, with its centenial tradition, is not only a sports collective but an important part of the local community identity, and as such deserves institutional support – said Prime Minister Nezir Pivić.
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Mirza Mush said that he was glad that a contract was signed with FC “Rudar” from Breza, a club with a centenary tradition.
– We are especially pleased to invest in youth selections, because in the middle with a rich tradition and serious professional work, a talent can be found that one day will wear the representation of our country’s national team – said Mustha.
Adnan Avdukić, Chairman of the Board of Directors FC “Rudar” Breza, thanked the Government and the Assembly of the ZDK which recognized the importance of this club.
– The funds that we will receive on the basis of this Law are extremely important, especially given the number of youth selections in which it is necessary to invest. We need to maintain the continuity of the development of the youth drive and we hope that the senior team in the future will achieve even better results in the future. Many representatives of BiH passed through the miner, and last year we marked 100 years of continuous existence of the club. Many sports workers left their seal through this club – said Avdukić.
Previously signed contracts with clubs of special importance from Zenica, High, Kakanj, Varesh and lead, and in the coming days, the contracts with clubs from other local communities are expected.
This year, Zenica-Doboj Canton increased the Budget for Sports with 2 to 5 million KM. The government provided KM 3 million to recover the most trophy sports collectives, while 2 million KM will be distributed to clubs that are not covered by law – through regular funding, as in previous years. With a total separation of 5 million KM for sports, the canton is approaching allocating from 1% of the budget, which is considered an optimal level of investment in this area.
