The Federal Ministry of Education and Science awarded the best students of primary and secondary schools in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the school year 2024/2025. year, and among the awardees was Bakir Širbegović from Tešnjone of the most successful students in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This significant award is given to students who achieved exceptional results during their studies, showed a high level of knowledge, dedication and continuous work. Bakir’s success gains additional weight because it is a confirmation of many years of effort and consistency in education.
Although Bakir continued his education in Sarajevo this school year, in Gymnasium “Musa Ćazim Ćatić” in Tešnje proudly point out that he spent the first two years of high school education in this institution, where he laid solid foundations for further academic development.
The Gymnasium says that Bakir’s success is a motivation and example for other students, but also a confirmation of the quality work of the teaching staff and the education system.
We remind you that XXIX Federal Competition in Physicswhich was held on April 12, 2025 in Sarajevo, student Bakir Širbegović from the gymnasium in Tešanj, he won first place in Group A (mechanics and thermodynamics). The competition was organized by Society of Physicists FBiH in cooperation with PMF of the University of Sarajevo. Accompanied by mentors, professors Isnar TinjićBakir excelled among the most talented high school students and will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina at Balkan Physics Olympiad in Ohridas well as at the national competition in Banja Luka.
