Čelik defeated Tuzla Sloboda 2:1 (0:0) with a turnaround at their Bila field in the match of the 16th round of the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and increased the points advantage over the first competitors, but also the chances for the final championship title and return to the Wwin League of BiH.
Tuzla took the lead with a goal by Vedad Abidović in the 52nd minute, Nihad Šero leveled the score at 1:1 in the 68th minute, and Harun Vardo scored a 2:1 victory for Čelik in the 84th minute.
Čelik, thus, remained almost a full year without defeat in championship matches in the FBiH First League. They recorded their last defeat in Zenica, back on April 5, 2025, when they were defeated 1:0 by Radnik from Hadžić.
In mid-February, Čelik ended their long unbeaten streak at their Zenica stadium, when they were defeated in the round of 16 of the BiH Cup by Sarajevo (0:1), but they are in a long streak of 25 matches without defeat in the championship.
Čelik now has eight points more than Travnik, and ten more than TOŠK and Jedinstva.
