Scotland midfielder Scott McTominay’s scissors kick in the 4-2 win against Denmark in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers has received a fitting tribute by ending up on a £20 note.
The victory against Denmark was key in the fight of the Scottish species for qualifying for the World Championship, which they have been waiting for since 1998.
The path to victory was opened by the midfielder of Napoli shiny naked “scissors” in the third minute of the match played at Hampden Park.
In honor of Scotland’s return to the World Cup, the Bank of Scotland presented bill with McTominay punch and in only 100 commemorative copies.
