Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said on Wednesday that Spain was not aware of any French plan regarding Greenland, nor that such a plan had been shared with other European partners.
France announced during the day that it was discussing a response with European partners if the United States followed through on its threat to take over Greenland
– We are not aware of the plan of the French in Greenland, nor that such a plan has been shared with other European partners – said Albares at the press briefing after the cabinet meeting.
He also said that, as far as the Russian war in Ukraine is concerned, the countries negotiating the cessation of hostilities are still far from a peace plan, adding that at this stage there is only a framework of ideas, reports AFP.
