Široki’s basketball players lost in the 24th round of the B&H Championship against the Slavia team with a score of 75:69.
The first quarter of the match in East Sarajevo belonged to the visitors. Siroki took the lead after less than two minutes of play and maintained the lead until the end. By laying down Vujanović in the last second of the first quarter, the guests went to the break with the lead 12:19.
It’s wide excellent the game continued at the beginning of the second quarter. They easily gained a double-digit advantage, but in the middle of the quarter, the home team woke up and came on -5 (23:28). After almost three minutes without scoring a basket from both sides of the court, Slavija reduced the score to 26:28 with Sanders’ three-pointer. However, the guests won the first half with a score of 30:34.
Slavia’s basketball players added more speed in the continuation of the match. They quickly equalized, and in the middle of the third quarter they took the lead (44:43). Široki soon took a new lead, and the home team was catching a minimal gap, so that the last quarter was entered again with a four-point advantage of the guests, 49:53.
The last quarter also brought an even game, three and a half minutes before the end of the game Slavija took the lead again which she did not drop until the very end.
Trice with 17, Škedelj with 16, Bošnjak with 14 points and MC Creary with 12 points were in double figures for Široki, while Milovanović led the home team with 17.
HKK Široki will play the next match on Wednesday from 20:30 when the team is visiting Pecara in the first game of the semi-finals of the ABA 2 league Helios.
