Tennis club Široki Brijeg organizes VI. Memorial tennis tournament “Viktor Vito Ćorić”, which will be held on Saturday, May 30, on the courts of TA SET (Đulić), TC Privalj and TC Njivice in Široki Brijeg.
The tournament is held in memory of Vito Corića prominent sports worker and tennis coach who, with his work and dedication, left a strong mark on the development of tennis and sports in Herzegovina.
The competition will be played in three categories:
- -50,
- +50 i
- TOP 6.
The start of the tournament is scheduled at 9 hours.
The final of the tournament starts at 16 hours on the TA SET courts, where the semi-final matches will be played.
There will be a special part of the program exhibition match of mixed couples at 5 p.min which famous tennis players will perform Ivan Dodig and Tomislav Brkić, with the young tennis hopeful Josip Misir and TK Široki Brijeg coach Mara Musa.
After the showcase meeting, Ivan Dodig and Tomislav Brkić will mingle with the students of the tennis school TK Široki Brijeg and play a few points with the youngest members of the club.
The final matches are planned after 8 p.mfollowed by the awarding of cups and socializing with tambura players, while a dinner will be organized for all participants and visitors.
The organizers invite all citizens, sports fans and friends of the club to come and support this sports event and together pay tribute to the man who left a special mark in the sports life of Široki Brijeg.
