The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, was knocked down during the hockey match between the leaders of Belarus and the Brest Oblast team, which was held today in Minsk and ended in a 5-5 draw.

The video shows the president’s team player, number 68, former Belarusian hockey player Yaroslav Chupris, accidentally hitting Lukashenko’s stick, causing him to fall.

Chupris immediately helped the Belarusian president to his feet.

The match was played in the Olympic Arena in Minsk.

In 2021, Lukashenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin played hockey after the meeting. The match was held at the Children’s Ice Arena in Strelna, St. Petersburg.

Hockey masters, mostly former champions, were also invited to participate. Putin and Lukashenko played for the “White” team against the “Red” team. The “White” team won 18-7, Putin scored seven goals and Lukashenko two.
