The players of FC Schalke 04 played a draw 2:2 against Hannover 96 in the match of the 26th round of the 2nd Bundesliga.
Bosnia and Herzegovina representative Edin Dzeko marked the game in a special way. The experienced striker first scored a goal, but later had to leave the field early after receiving a straight red card for a careless start on an opposing player.

Because of that exclusion, Dzeko will almost certainly face a suspension of at least two games.
The Schalke striker previously hit the opponent’s net and thus reached the seventh goal of the current season, along with three assists.
After his goal, Karaman increased the advantage of the home team to 2:0, but the visitors managed to avoid defeat in the end. Nawrocki reduced the score to 2:1 in the 82nd minute, while Pichler gave Hannover a point with a goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
