Last night, the Sacramento Kings ended their 16-game losing streak by beating the Memphis Grizzlies 123-114, and Russell Westbrook scored 25 points to celebrate.
Precious Achiuwa added 22 points and 12 rebounds, DeMar DeRozan finished with 19 points, while Maxime Raynaud scored 10 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
Javon Small had 21 points, nine assists and six rebounds, but his effort wasn’t enough for the Grizzlies to avoid their sixth loss in seven games. Olivier-Maxence Prosper had 17 points and GG Jackson 16.
San Antonio Spurs they also celebrated away from home by defeating the first team of the Eastern Conference with 114-103 Detroit Pistons.
Devin Vassell scored 28 points, including seven 3-pointers, for San Antonio, which extended its winning streak to nine games.
Victor Wembanyama added 21 points and 17 rebounds, six blocks and four assists for the second-place team in the Western Conference. Julian Champagnie scored 17 points, while Stephon Castle contributed 16 points and 11 assists.
Jalen Duren led the Pistons with 25 points and 14 rebounds. Cade Cunningham recorded a double-double performance with 16 interceptions and 10 assists.
Houston Rockets won 125-105 on their home court Utah Jazzand Jabari Smith Jr. led them to victory. who scored six three-pointers and scored the most points in the game – 31. Kevin Durant recorded 18 points and 12 assists, and Tara Eason added 11 points and ten rebounds.
Amen Thompson added 20 points for the Rockets, who are third in the West at 18-40.
At Utah, Lauri Markkanen was the best with 29 assists, followed by Brice Sensabaugh who finished the game with 26 points.
The Jazz turned the Rockets’ 27 turnovers into 34 points, but that didn’t stop them from losing their third game in a row. Utah is 13th in the Western Conference with a record of 18-40.
