Russian ambassador to the United Nations, Vasilij Nebenzja, said Russia is ready to consider the ceasefire in Ukraine to open space for the permanent conflict solution.
However, Moscow expects that during any truce of the Western country, the delivery of weapons of Kiev is suspended that Ukraine stops the mobilization of soldiers.
Nebenzja has emphasized before the UN Security Council that a simple ceasefire is not enough to end the war that lasts more than three years.
“In order to achieve a sustainable and permanent solution of the Ukrainian crisis, we must address its fundamental causes,” he said. He added that Russia proposes the second round of negotiations in Istanbul next Monday, during which both sides could exchange memorandums about their negotiating attitudes.
“We will continue to fight as much as it takes without threats of our borders, without anti-Ruskic education in neighboring countries. We will not allow it,” the Russian ambassador said.
