“On the one hand, Romania will increase the defense allocations until then, and in order to contribute to the Defense of Europe, and on the other hand it will improve national security,” he said after the National Defense Council meeting.
According to Bologane, increased allocations of Romania will ensure the consolidated defense of the state as the east wing of the North Atial Alliance.
Romania’s Supreme National Defense Council has also adopted a plan on strengthening military mobility, within which a new bridge over the Danube is highlighted as one of the important projects.
“This plan envisions the main infrastructure projects that also provide civilian mobility, as well as those who will increase and provide military mobility in this region in Southeast Europe,” Romania pointed out.
He added that his state joined the new military mobility corridor in the Balkans, a new bridge project over the Danube, whose workmanship is currently underway.
