Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the public.
He said the situation “begins to change” after talks with Donald Trump, Steve Witkoff, in Moscow, adding, “We will see what will come into that.”
Putin also answered Trump’s request to spare the lives of Ukrainian soldiers. The American president wrote on Truth Social: “I strongly requested President Putin to be spared their lives. That would be a terrible massacre, as not seen since World War II.”
Responding to the Trump Words, Putin called on the Ukrainian authorities to order their soldiers surrender.
– Ukrainian soldiers will be guaranteed a guaranteed life, a fair treatment if he passes his weapons, Putin said.
