Russian President Vladimir Putin commented on a meeting with the US President Donald Trump in Alaska, calling him “significant and honest”.
“As for our relations with the United States, they are at an extremely nisk level, I have already said that many times, but with the arrival of President Trump, I think that light at the end of the tunnel was finally begun.” Putin said.
He added that the contacts of Moscow and Washington continue at the level of ministries and companies, and the first steps to be taken should be the beginning of a complete recovery of relations.
“This pace of work is planning to keep, but the result primarily depends on the Western partners,” Russian president emphasized.
Putin also praised Trump’s leadership quality, pointing out that he sees them as a “good guarantee for the reconstruction of Russia and the United States.”
