In the organization Sports Association of Doboj Jug Municipalitywith financial support Municipality of Doboj Jugthe ceremony of selecting the most successful athletes and sports teams for 2025 was held.
The program began with the laying of flowers and tributes at the Central Memorial on the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after which the President of the Sports Association Kenan Kurbašić and the Mayor of the Municipality Mirnes Tukić addressed the audience.
Sports hopes
Awards for sports hopefuls were given to: Selma and Samra Mrkanović, Šejla Burejić, Mirsad Mrkanović, Adin Čolić, Zejd Avdić, Imad Muratović, Elma Begić, Asja Bekrić, Najda Begić, Ena Dubravac, Adin Begić and Harun Škiljo.
The best in younger categories
In the pre-pioneer category, Senad Škilja (ŠF BH Barca Doboj Jug), Nadja Kličević (FK Sloga) and Adna Bećarević (Karate Club Internacional Zenica) received awards.
Among the pioneers, Mahir Krdžalić and Merjem Dedić (FK Sloga) and Berina Zajimović (Karate Club Internacional Zenica) were awarded.
Davud Aličić (FK Sloga Doboj) and Ajša Hozić (Karate Club Internacional Zenica) stood out in the cadet competition, while Šemsudin Bekrić (NK TOŠK Tešanj) and Lejla Šečić (TWD club Dragon Doboj Jug).
Special recognitions and collectives
Merjem Topčagić, Merjem Hidić, Amina Čolić, Nejla Durmi, Armin Madeško, Elmedina Delić, Muhamed Gibić, Besim Šaćirović and Bakir Krdžalić were awarded for the achieved results.
It was declared the most successful club Taekwondo club Dragon Doboj Jugwhile the most successful collective team is BH Barca Doboj Jug (year 2015). The most successful coach is Emir Šečić, and the sports worker is Sulejman Kurbašić. The sports event of the year is the manifestation “Gymnastics in the Heart”.
Ahmet Begić, Dženad Huskić, Kenan Kurdić, Adna Tukić, Kenan Kikić and the Center for Fitness and Rehabilitation “Skolioza” were awarded for the promotion of sports and the Municipality of Doboj Jug.
The best athletes
Medžid Muratović is the most successful in disabled sports.
In the senior competition, the title of the most successful female athlete went to Emira Begović (TWD club Dragon Doboj Jug), while the most successful athlete in team sports is Bakir Sprečo (NK TOŠK Tešanj).
Belmin Tukić from the Kick boxing club was declared the most successful athlete in individual sports.
The ceremony once again showed that Doboj Jug has rich sports potential and that young athletes are the future of this local community.
