Poor society: Most citizens only work for food, some foods can only fantasize

The union consumer basket in Bosnia and Herzegovina has long been twice as much as the average salary. And while the citizens of every new salary “rags” old holes, economists warn that the structure of personal income consumption is alarming and is the true indicator of the state in society.

An employee receiving the average salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina for 30 days in the month works for this. Statistics says that 70 percent of receiving, ie salaries received by the worker, goes to accounts and food. So 70 percent is survival, and the remaining 30 percent is life.

According to official data, the Trade Union Consumer Cart for Mart in our country was 3,166 marks, while the average net salaries in the Republic of Srpska and the Federation of BiH 1,476, or 1,565 marks. In reality it looks different:

First, the bills go, that is one third, then the food goes and remains very little for other needs – says for BHRT Jovanka Trifković.

And, although most of what they spend on food, and in that domain, many things are unattainable, such as meat, but also cherries and strawberries, which are full of media columns due to the price.

On our theseng, I do not say about the whole market, there are 16 marks of cherry on our eggs, Jagoda is 7 marks, the first of our baniards 10 marks – leads the seller at the market.

It is that it was not born this year, but it will not even eat. Take the cost of meat prices, you don’t have under 15.20 marks and more beef, veal, that’s all. More about the consumer basket is absurd to speak, this is now everything related to purely survival – president of the consumer association “Bello” from Bijeljina, Jovan Vasilić.

Economists warn that the structure of consumption is, in which most personal incomes go to food, the main indicator of poverty in society.

The standard of living is something we can follow something better in a longer period. It is very difficult to expect some changes to better or for worse in a short time. A brief period is year – two years … – He says professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo Adnan Efendić.

The solution for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens see the analysts in the strengthening of domestic production and significant investment in production, primarily agriculture, in order to reduce the dependence on imports. Although the solution is clear, the path to it is paved only by sound promises, writes Hayat TV.
