Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy Adnan Delić announced that the ePorodilja application officially opens today, March 1, 2026, on the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, for all children born from January 1, 2026.
“For the third year in a row, we are opening the ePorodilja application as a systemic and financially serious form of support for families with newborn children in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As in the previous two years, every child born in 2026 has the right to one-time support in the amount of 1,000 KM, and the application remains open throughout the year, with no time limits,” Minister Delić explained.
ePorodilja is a completely electronic service and registration is entered from the comfort of home. Before applying, it is necessary to register on the application, and then complete the application. Confirmation of holding a bank account is uploaded directly to the application, while all other entered data is verified officially through institutional data exchange. The child must be registered in the register and have a unique registration number assigned so that the system can perform an automatic check.
During the year 2025, payment was made for 15,203 applications, and with the last tranche, which will be realized on March 10, the total number of children covered by the payment of this one-time support amounts to 15,465.
A total of 14,945 applications were received for one child, 254 applications for twins and 4 applications for triplets. The total amount of funds that will be paid, including the last tranche of 343,000 KM, amounts to 15,457,000 KM.
These data show that it is a stable and functional system that includes all live-born as well as still-born children in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that represents one of the most concrete family support measures at the federal level. Radio Sarajevo.
