The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has decided to allocate a total of 11 new official passenger cars owned by the Service for Joint Affairs of Bodies and Bodies of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the vehicles will be used by the Vice Presidents of the Federation, individual federal agencies and ministries, and the General Secretariat of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These are cars produced in 2025, models Audi A6 and Škoda Superb, whose total value, according to the procurement documentation, is 900,854.86 KM without VAT, or 1,053,999.19 KM with VAT, writes Akta.
Special attention is drawn to the fact that three Audi A6s were awarded to the highest users within the Federation. One Audi was given to the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Refik Lendo, the second to the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Stojanović, while the third Audi was assigned to the Service for Joint Affairs, i.e. for the needs of the FBiH Government. All three vehicles are in the same configuration, Audi A6 TDI quattro S tronic, diesel engine, 150 kW, black metallic color.
The rest of the fleet consists of Škoda Superb. Two examples of the Superb model in the version 2.0 TDI (110 kW) were assigned to the Federal Agency for the Management of Confiscated Assets and the Civil Service Agency of FBiH, while the remaining six Škoda Superb vehicles in the variant 2.0 TDI 4×4 (142 kW) were distributed to institutions that will use them in their daily official duties, among them the Federal Ministry for Veterans and Invalids of the Defense and Liberation War, the Federal Ministry of Education and Science, the Federal the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the General Secretariat of the FBiH Government, as well as another vehicle assigned to the Service for Joint Affairs for the needs of the Government.
The decision specifies who bears the costs of use, registration, comprehensive insurance, fuel, regular and extraordinary services, possible damage to the vehicle and all other extraordinary costs – they are paid in full by the institution that uses the car. The Service for Joint Affairs and vehicle users are responsible for the implementation of the decision, each within the scope of their competences.
The procurement was realized at the end of December last year, and according to the archive of public procurements on the Akta.ba portal, the procedure was carried out through three lots, with different prices by vehicle class. The most expensive lot related to upper middle class vehicles up to 120,000 KM, within which three cars were purchased, and the contracted value was 306,837.66 KM without VAT; the company MRM Export-Import doo got the job
The second lot included six upper middle-class vehicles up to 90,000 KM, with a total value of 459,401.79 KM without VAT, while the third lot was intended for two middle-class vehicles up to 80,000 KM, worth 134,615.41 KM without VAT. For lots 2 and 3, Hercegovina Auto dd Export Import was listed as the selected bidder.
The allocation of new official cars regularly arouses public interest, especially in the context of the overall cost of public spending. In this case, the Government of FBiH emphasizes that the vehicles remain in the portfolio of the Service for Joint Affairs, while the financial burden of their use is assumed by the institutions that made them available.
