Sipović, who has won three European and Mediterranean medals in her career so far, reached the finals after impressive performances throughout the day of the competition.
In the group stage (round robin), she won the first place in the group by defeating competitors from Russia, Latvia and Belgium. She continued her great form in the elimination phase of the competition.
In the quarter-final match BH. the representative of the national team defeated the current world champion from Egypt with a score of 4:1, while in the semi-finals she was better than the representative of Russia by the same score, which earned her a place in the grand final in the category of senior women up to 55 kg.
The final match for the gold medal is scheduled for Sunday.
