While the recovery process continues, Musa spoke to the specialized portal BasketNews, where he touched on several interesting topics, including the departure of Željko Obradović from the Partizan bench.
“I was surprised because of Željko. I know what kind of winner he is and what kind of coach he is. He is one of the best, if not the best, ever in the Euroleague. I had dinner with my family and watched the moment when he landed from Athens in Belgrade, and then I saw all those fans who showed him enormous love. It is something incredible and unique. Regardless of whether you like Partizan or not, it must be respected. That love for the club and the coach is special. It is painful to see that such great coaches, like Željko and “Messina will not be on the benches of the Euroleague teams. It will be strange to play against Partizan and Milan without them, but that is the cruelty of basketball. At the end of the day, you have to move on,” said Musa.

When it comes to the wing center position, Musa offered a somewhat unexpected choice.
“The four is a difficult position. I like a player who can shoot, but also attack from penetration. With Edy in the game, another shooter is needed, so I would put Jabari Parker from Barcelona in that position. He played there with great confidence, and when he is like that, then he is unstoppable,” said our representative.

“Right now I’m nervous because I want to come back. The injury slowed me down, and I know that people in Dubai expect a lot from me. I feel that and it bothers me. However, I decided to put my head down and work. Every day I’m in the gym, every day with physiotherapists and doctors and I’m close to returning. This injury has made me stronger than before. I’m grateful for everything and I expect to return soon,” said Musa.
He has played only two games for Dubai in the Euroleague so far, with an average of 15 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per match.
