The President of the City Council of the City of Mostar, Đani Rahimić, announced that he had the honor of hosting the Ambassador of the United Kingdom in Bosnia and Herzegovina Jullian Reilly, representatives and fans of the Crystal Palace football club today.
“Our libertarian Mostar, and especially the old city, has always been open to all well-intentioned people who visit it! Today I had the special honor of hosting my friend, the ambassador of the United Kingdom in Bosnia and Herzegovina, H.E. Jullian Reilly, representatives and fans of the Crystal Palace football club, with whom I enjoyed walking through the old city center, where they were welcomed by our fellow citizens in a very nice and hospitable manner,” he pointed out.
He added that the people of Mostar are used to welcoming all those who visit the city and wish well to all people, thus denying inscriptions, misinformation, spins or unsuccessful lobbying attempts in the best way to present Mostar, and especially the old town, in a negative light.
“Ambassador Reilly is aware of this, as he spared his time and once again showed that he is a great friend of our city and country, and I am especially grateful to him for that. During his visit, the ambassador, representatives and fans of the renowned Crystal Palace club had the opportunity to visit some of our sights and we hope to take away fond memories of our city, which is open to them and where they are always welcome as our friends,” he concluded.
