The winner of the Rolla Mostar Half Marathon is Ivan Dračar from Croatia, while the second place was won by Ognjen Stojanović from Serbia, as part of the tenth edition of the Mostar Run Weekend (MRW) held on Saturday.
Dračar, to whom this is third victory at the Mostar Half Marathon, stated after the race that his goal was to achieve a result for the overall victory.
My best score is 1:06:35today my goal was to win and I achieved that. I was convinced that I had the victory until the last two kilometers, when I had big problems with my legs. It was as if they were blocked, as if I ran out of energy, which really surprised me. This is my seventh performance and third victory at the Mostar Half Marathon, 41st career victory in total – said Dračar.
Ognjen Stojanović from Serbia is running in Mostar for the fourth time.
I think that says enough about how much I like it. I have been practicing for several years to start the season with this race because I am a triathlete. I am not satisfied with the placement and the result. Strange race for me. The first ten kilometers I felt very comfortable.
A French woman also reached the finish line Zoe Hamel and is the first woman to reach the finish line with a time of 01:18:36.
This year’s Mostar Run Weekend gathered more than 3,000 participants from 58 countriesbreaking last year’s record.
As part of the program, a half-marathon was held with 1,650 runners, followed by a humanitarian race of citizens over four kilometers with about 1,500 participants.
President of the Organizing Committee Franjo Lovrić he pointed out that this is the biggest racing event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The start was on the bridge in Vojno famous with more than 1500 competitors. Mostar has never experienced that before. We sent a strong beautiful message, Lovrić said.
According to him, the event could not succeed without volunteers.
Every ten years we build a volunteer network, we invest a lot in the social community, where we are connected with all associations, with the photo club, majorettes. We must not leave out the Mostar Police Department either, because their employees ensure the entire route all the time. pointed out Lovrić.

As for the humanitarian race that follows at 12 o’clock, Lovrić says as instructed public invitation to all 40 primary and secondary schools from the area of the city of Mostar – ten of them responded to the organization of the HT Eronet humanitarian race of citizens in such a way that they animated everyone who belongs to their social community. All the amount will be distributed to the schools.
Registrations for the next, 11th Mostar Half Marathon, are on schedule March 20, 2027, and they open March 23, 2026

On Saturday, the play “Bear: A Joke in One Act” was announced at the National Theater Mostar, as well as a musical program at OKC Abrašević led by the local band “Tajna Veza” and a guest Antonija Batinić, with local and foreign rock hits. Sunday is planned for optional tours – said Šunjić Bernardić.

This half-marathon has its own touristic and economic impact on Mostar. More than 1,500 guests from 58 countries will spend, especially in a kind of “off season”, and that says a lot about this event. Most of the facilities are full, I believe that restaurants and cafes are also full, and this event helps in sustainable tourism and the development of the local community – said Čerkez in a statement a few days earlier.
