The match was announced for the club’s official portal by the head of the coaching staff, Savo Milošević, who said that the Željeznicar team is ready for this duel.
– In short, we had a whole week to prepare. All players are fine and ready for the match, except for Muftić, who cannot play due to a card. I think we are ready. We have a period and a cycle of three games coming up against teams with whom we had a big problem, even bigger than in these derbies, so it will be necessary to perhaps raise the quality of play, concentration and aggression a little more, if we want a good result. We got into this situation precisely because of the results against the teams we will play against in the next three rounds – said Milošević.
As he said, he spoke with the players, from whom he is asking for extra caution and engagement compared to what they have shown in the past period.
– Every visit here is very difficult. The other day, the worker won Široki Brijeg, it’s a team that knows what they’re doing, they’re dangerous and they know what they’re doing at every moment, so it won’t be easy at all. According to what we saw in the previous days, the field is not the most ideal, so we have to concentrate on all those details in order to try to achieve a good result. The boys are doing well, we will need tactical discipline again, to respect everything we agree on in the dressing room – he added.
