Recently, the name of Bart Meijers was more often mentioned in the context of crossing the rows of Sarajevo, but it seems to be nothing from it.
The Dutch Stoper had an exceptional season in the fighter jersey, where he was profiling as one of the key players written by the history of performance in the insome final of the conference league. Meijers arrived at the Banja Luka team last summer and soon became an indispensable part of the back line.
His solid parties, both on the European and domestic stage, did not last unnoticed, so the interest showed numerous clubs. However, he states that he could continue his career in Sarajevo – they are not accurate.
For Meridiansportbh, his MP Hamzaoui clearly said:
“Neither Bart talked to someone from Sarajevo, nor did I do. There is no contact. When it comes to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the only club to play is. If he leaves, it will be abroad. That’s all I can say about his future.”
Agreement Meijersu with the Banja Luka club expires 30. June, so it will soon be known whether to extend cooperation or seek a new challenge. This season, he enrolled in the fighter jersey as many as 50 performances, with two goals and one assistance.
