The Minister of Economy of Zenica-Doboj Canton, Samir Šibonjić, held a working meeting with the Minister of the Diaspora of Montenegro Mirsad Azemovic, who resides visits Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting was organized with the aim of strengthening mutual cooperation between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on the potential of the diaspora in the development of economic and social projects in both countries.
During the meeting, the concrete models of cooperation between the two ministries, the exchange of good practices in working with the diaspora, as well as the possibilities of joint action in the field of economy, investment and sustainable development. Special emphasis was placed on the role of the diaspora as the bridge between the country and abroad, and the importance of its involvement in the development initiatives that contribute to the strengthening of local communities in Zenica – Doboj Canton and Montenegro.
Minister Šibonjic emphasized the readiness of the ZDK economy to actively participate in regional and international initiatives that contribute to economic stability and the connection of economic entities, especially those involving emigration as a valuable resource for future development.
The Montenegrin delegation was also ajla Dervević, the principles of cooperation with the diaspora in the region and Europe, presented the activities of the Ministry of the Diaspora of Montenegro in the context of strengthening the links with emigrants and their active involvement in the development processes.
Duplexing is a pronounced readiness for continuing and deepening cooperation, with the planning of future meetings and joint projects that will contribute to better connection and exchange between the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Institutions of Montenegro.
