Mass protests against the administration of US President Donald Trump were held in numerous cities across the United States of America. The protests are part of the third wave of gatherings called “No Kings”, which have previously attracted millions of participants.
Organizers say the demonstrations are protesting a range of current administration policies, including the conflict in Iran, increased federal immigration controls and rising costs of living.
– Trump wants to rule over us like a tyrant. But this is America and power belongs to the people, not to “wannabe kings” and their billionaire allies – said the organizers.
A sharp reaction came from the White House. An administration spokesman described the protests as “therapy sessions for Trump’s distraction,” adding that the only people interested in them were “journalists paid to cover them.”

Protests were held in almost every major city, including New York, Washington and Los Angeles. In the US capital, thousands of people marched through the streets, and the area around the Lincoln Memorial and the National Mall was full of protesters.
The crowd carried banners and mannequins depicting Trump, Vice President JD Vance and other members of the administration, demanding their removal and criminal prosecution. One of the central rallies was held in Minnesota, where federal immigration agents killed two American citizens in January, sparking public outrage. Thousands of people gathered in front of the state Capitol in Saint Paul, and prominent members of the Democratic Party spoke at the rally.
Musician Bruce Springsteen also performed at the protest, performing the song “Streets of Minneapolis” and criticizing the government’s immigration policies.
Although the organizers claim that the protests are peaceful, incidents have also been recorded. In Los Angeles, two people were arrested for attacking federal officers, while police used non-lethal means to disperse the crowd. Smaller clashes were also recorded in Dallas, where counter-protesters blocked the streets, while in New York Times Square was full of protesters, which led to the closure of roads.

Several states have mobilized the National Guard, although organizers insist the protest will be non-violent. Since returning to the White House in January 2025, Trump has expanded the president’s powers through executive orders, including sending the military into cities, despite opposition from local governments.
Trump also called on judicial institutions to prosecute political opponents, sparking further controversy.
– They say I’m the king. I’m not a king – Trump said earlier on Fox News, rejecting accusations that he is acting autocratic.
