Maletic became a coach in the professional staff of Rođeni, with whom he signed a two-year contract, and now he spoke for the club’s official television on numerous topics.
The Mostar team recently fired up their engines, did their first training session and started preparations for the continuation of the season, where they are expected to fight for a place that leads to Europe and the Cup competition.
In an interview for the club’s official television, Maletić said that he knows some players personally, adding that he followed Rođene intensively in the previous period.
– I know some players personally, and I followed Velež intensively in the previous period, so I know the qualities of the players. The period of adaptation will not be long and I will try to fit in as soon as possible, Maletić pointed out, then added:
– Preparations are the foundation of everything. We hope to pick up where we left off in the fall. It is important that we get through with as few injuries as possible. We will have ideal conditions and we will have a quality tournament in Medulin. I am sure that we will be ready to enter the continuation of the championship.
According to Maletić, the goals of Rođeni are always the highest, adding that, above all, they want to continue the great series from the last two months.
– Goals are always the biggest. First of all, we want to continue the great streak of the last two months. We have to strive to be better and I hope that after the preparations we will all move forward. We are in a good position and we have to take advantage of all the chances that come our way in the continuation of the championship, said Maletić.
