French President Emmanuel Macron said the initiative would not involve mass distribution of the army, but sending contingents of several thousand soldiers in Key locations in Ukraine, without the need for Russian approval, PIE AFP.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, less than two weeks ago, was mentioned by the possibility of the “coalition of willing”, in which soldiers from several countries would be arranged in Ukraine as peacekeeping forces in case of arrival.
– More European and non-European countries expressed readiness to participate in a possible salary of peacekeepers – said Macron for the French regional newspaper.
According to him, soldiers could be sent to strategic locations in Ukraine to implement training programs and showed long-term support for Kiev.
Moscow strongly opposes that idea, but Macron said Russia has no right to decide.
– If Ukraine requests the presence of allied forces in its territory, Russia has no right to decide whether to accept them or reject them – said Macron.
Military officials from several countries will meet on Thursday in London to discuss the formation of operating peacekeeping forces.
