Former player of Posušje and the youth national team, Luka Mikulić, announced on the social network Instagram that he will no longer play for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Through the story option, 20-year-old Mikulić published a statement in which he decided to explain to the public and fans of Bosnia and Herzegovina what it was all about.

After I received the first invitation from coach Branislav Krunić, I answered with pride. At that moment I was the most standard player in the championshipand the coach sent me to the stands twice. I kept quiet and respected his decision. He got me into the game once for a minute. Is it to humiliate me or… he knows that best, but I respected that, as well as his every decision, even though at that moment I was one of the few from the national team who did not play junior football, but senior football.
I made it historical transfer for my then club Posusje and I continued my career in Grasshoppers, and as a “reward” for that I did not receive a call from the coach even in these three months, while my other teammates who changed clubs received calls and congratulations. I remained silent and respected that, as well as every decision of the selectors.

The final straw is today’s list of menus that I’m not on. I’m probably not on the list because I’m standard in the team? I’m a grown man, I respect everyone’s choiceeven the selector’s, despite the fact that it is not logical, nor, if you will, fair. I would like to take this opportunity to thank President Zeljković, Director Spahić, Coordinator Dalibor Šilić, as well as our fans BHfanaticos, whose support meant a lot to me in Slovenia.
For me, the national team is a finished story as of today. In the future, I want to focus on club duties, and I wish the national team all the luck and much success.
