Revenues from indirect taxes in the first two months of 2026 amounted to one billion and 885 million KM and are higher by 84 million KM or 4.66% compared to the same period in 2025, when they amounted to one billion and 801 million KM.
In the first two months of 2026, the administration refunded VAT to taxpayers who exercised their legal right to a refund in the amount of 354 million KM.
The net collected revenues that were distributed to users in the first two months of 2026, namely the state, entities and Brčko District, amounted to 1 billion and 530 million KM, which is 7.11% more than in 2025.

In February 2026, slightly more than 1 (one) billion KM indirect taxes were collected, which is 79 million KM more than in February 2025.
Distribution of income in January – February 2026
An amount of 158 million KM has been allocated for the financing of state institutions in the first two months of 2026. All excess collected revenues from indirect taxes ended up in entity coffers and Brčko District.
Thus, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received 834 million KM from the ITA Single Account, Republika Srpska 467 million KM and Brčko District 46 million KM.
In the table below, we present the total allocated funds to the entities and the Brčko District of BiH with the associated external debt for the first two months of 2026 compared to the same period last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of KM.
In addition to distributed revenues, based on a special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 KM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 40 million KM, the Republika Srpska 26 million KM and the Brčko District 1.3 million KM.
The difference represents a reserve in a separate account for tolls in the amount of 0.25 KM, it says Klix.
