Donald Trump just met with Provisional President Syria Ahmad Al-Shara. It is the first meeting of the leader of the United States and Syria in the last 25 years.
The meeting was held behind closed doors, and the journalists were not allowed access, Appiece reports.
The White House did not immediately announce who was still attending the meeting, nor did it provide additional details about the conversation.
The United States has been considering some time to set up towards Al-Sharao since he took power in December.
