The Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres invited “the greatest restraint and the interruption of all military activities” in Yemen, said his spokesman Stephane Dujarric.
“Any additional escalation could worsen regional tensions, encourage revenge cycles that could further destabilize the Yemen and Region and represent serious risks for the country’s terrible humanitarian situation,” Dujarric said.
The announcement followed the United States to perform deadly strikes in that country on Hute rebels.
