Ukrainian President Volodimir reacted sharply after the destructive attack of Russian forces in which at least 12 civilians were killed, he stretched that the Kremlin must be acted with additional sanctions to prevent new attacks on civilians.
In the public statement, Greenski emphasized that Russian targets were exclusively civilian objects, and Kiev, Odessa, Dnieper, Kharkiv and many others were among the affected cities.
“During the night, almost 300 drones were launched, mostly shaheda, and more than 70 different missiles, including ballistic missiles. The goals were ordinary cities and residential buildings. It is direct, intentional attacks on civilians,” said Greenski.
The Ukrainian leader warns Russian terror does not stop that the international community must react.
“Every such aggression is a reason for new sanctions. The world must not be silent, because the silence gives the green light to continue. Weekends and working days do not exist when it comes to war crimes,” he said.
In his speech, Greens also called the former US President Donald Trump, reminding that he had previously promised a strong response, including energy sanctions, if no progress occurs in negotiations with Russia.
“The war can only be stopped if strong pressure is made on Moscow. Putin should be made not to think about rockets, but about the interruption of war,” Ukrainian president concluded.
