Women’s volleyball club Goražde will play the FBiH Cup final tomorrow in Maglaj, and their opponent is OK Ort Novo Sarajevo.
It is an opportunity for the Goraždanka to take revenge for the recent defeat in the championship and to confirm the good form they have been showing lately.
The president of OK Goražde, Nermin Obuća, points out that the girls are highly motivated by the great victory over the Banja Luka Voley team and adds that the week before the final of the Federal Cup was used to prepare the team as much as possible for the game, which, in case of victory, would bring the trophy to the city on the Drina after a long time
– There is a small amount of nervousness in the team, the reason for which is probably the great desire to win in this FBiH Cup final match. We hope that we will transfer that nervousness into some positive things and that we will be able to prepare the team psychologically, considering that they are physically already in full swing and there should be nothing missing – said Obuća.
Coach Erna Marevac will not have two important players available in tomorrow’s game – Adna Dragolj and Meliha Musić
– Unfortunately, like a few games before, we enter this game without our first libero, Meliha Musić, who is honestly the backbone of our team and carries the game with a couple of other older players. Unfortunately, Adna Dragolj also failed to recover, so we travel to Maglaj without them. However, I hope that the other girls will give their best and justify the coach’s trust. Tonight we have the last training, and tomorrow we expect a good game because the Orta team is a serious team, as their victory in Gacko speaks of. We are aware that it will not be easy, but we believe that we will get revenge for the defeat in the championship game in Goražde and that we will celebrate in the end – said Obuća.
The FBiH Cup final match between OK Goražde and OK Ort Novo Sarajevo is scheduled for tomorrow at 4 p.m., and after the women’s final, the men’s final will be held, in which OK Kakanj and OK Napredak Odžak will meet.
