The European Integration Office of West Herzegovina’s County in Cooperation with the Herzegovina Boke and Tourist Cluster, organizes the panel discussion on the topic of sustainable tourism.
The forum will be held within 26. International Economy Fair – Tourism Fair in Mostar, 11. April 2025. Years, at 13:00 (Hall # 3).
The forum is organized as “Product Club Meeting” Within the project “Romanwinesdanube”, implemented by the European Integration of the County of the West Herzegovina, and is financed through the IMORE DANUBE 2021-2027. The aim of this event is to integrate cyclature as a key part of the sustainable tourist offer of Herzegovina.
The panel will bring together key stakeholders – local communities, travel agencies, public sector producers and representatives of the public sector – with the aim of developing thematic bicycle routes that link wine regions, cultural sights and the Roman legacy.
Given the recent beginning of the cycling season, the forum will serve as Exchange platformpresentation of new ideas and defining directions of future development of cycling in the region. This form of tourism is recognized as an environmentally sustainable and economically cost-effective model that can enrich the tourist offer of Herzegovina and attract a number of visitors.
Participants Panel discussion
Panel discussion will open Toni Zorić, President of the Association of HerzegovinaBic, who will welcome everyone present and present cyclotourism in Herzegovina. It will emphasize the importance of developing cycling infrastructure, networking of local communities and promotions of Herzegovina as attractive destinations for cyclurists. After the introductory presentation, Zorić will give the word to other participants, who will share their experiences, challenges and visions of cycling development in the region.
The forum will bring together the prominent experts and representatives of the institutions, which through the panel discussion will divide its view of cyclature development:
