In the organization of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the presentation of the “European Union program for Employment and Social Innovation (EASI)” was held at the headquarters of the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
The aim of the presentation was to introduce institutions from the Zenica-Doboj Canton – as potential beneficiaries – with the specifics of the EASI program, the way of applying the funds from the European Union funds under this program.
The event was attended by the Minister of Work, Social Policy and the Cantonial Ministry, Jew Office, the Chamber of Commerce, the Center for Children and Adults with the Special Needs of ZDK, Regional Development Agency, as well as other relevant institutions and organizations.
In his address, Minister Simunovic thanked the representatives of the BiH Ministry of Civil Affairs on arrival and emphasized the importance of such events to strengthen cooperation and information of local institutions on available European programs. He emphasized that the EASI program is a significant opportunity for the development and improvement of employment and social policy services in the cantonal area.
– The Ministry of Labor, Social Policy and the Refugees of the Zenica-Doboj Canton will continue to connect local institutions with the relevant European Union programs to provide additional opportunities to improve the social inclusion and labor market – said Minister Šimunović.
