FK Sarajevo addressed the public after the concert of the most popular Bosnian singer Dino Merlin was scheduled for July 31 at the Asim Ferhatović Hase stadium in Koševo.
Merlin’s concert coincides with the dates possible European matches of FK Sarajevo. More precisely, the concert will put the stadium out of use from July 24 to August 4.
The Bordeaux team issued a press release stating that they support big concerts in Koševobut not in terms of the most important games for the club.
FK Sarajevo would like to address the public regarding information about the possible holding of the concert on July 31 at the Koševo stadium, which would put the stadium out of use from July 24 to August 4.
This term coincides with the period European competitions which are of great importance for the club – both in terms of sports and results, as well as in the context of financial stability and long-term positioning of the club on the European stage, it is stated in the press release and adds:
The qualification matches are played 9 and 16, then 23 and 30 July, and 6 and 13 August. We support big concerts in Koševo, but not during the most important matches, because such events affect the quality of the pitch and playing conditions. FK Sarajevo remains open to dialogue, but clearly points out that protecting the interests of the club must be a priority. Koševo is not just a stadium. It is the home of FK Sarajevo. In European nights – it belongs to football, they said from FK Sarajevo.
