FBI Director: The attack on the employed Embassy of Israel in Washington was the act of terrorism

The director of the American Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI) Kash Patel said the armed attack in which the young couple was killed in the Embassy of Israel in Washington was the act of terrorism.

“Last night’s terrorist attack has attracted the full attention of the FBI. The targeted anti-Semy violence is an attack on our fundamental values, and the Federal Law Enforcement Agencies will answer full force,” Patel on the X (former Twitter).

He added that the perpetrator would be brought to justice and that the FBI continues the intensive investigation.

In the attack in front of the Jewish Museum in Washington, a young man and a girl, a couple who planned to trust were killed. The male victim except Israeli, possessed German citizenship.

Police arrested a thirty-year-old man from Chicago, who was suspected of attack. According to the witness’s statements, he shouted during the arrest: “Free Palestine!”
