The informal group of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered today, 2. April, in front of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, where the protest against the poor economic situation in the country at 10 am.
Protesters pointed out that the reasons for their gathering are low revenues, high contributions and constant growth in the cost of living, which further complicates the daily daily citizens.
The gathered wore translates with messages such as: “The whole country is the” Tuzla will not stop, “Reduce the inflation” and “Sell the Tuarege, buy the canades”, which manages the economy and public funds.
The protest is also organized due to the minimum increase in pensions, issues of non-working Sunday, unemployment growth, all more expensive basic foods and electricity, as well as to increase labor costs without accompanying fiscal reforms.
Protesters also criticized the way of spending budget funds, claiming the citizens’ money spread to unnecessary functions and advisors, instead of investing in improving economic conditions.
They invited citizens who are unable to arrive in Sarajevo to organize calm gatherings in their cities – on squares, in front of institutions or through symbolic protests such as joint crossing crossing transitions.
Meanwhile, the session of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament is also held today, which is expected to be a fierce debate on key economic and social issues.
