In the match of the 2nd round of Group A of the European Championship, the Croatian U-17 national team beat Estonia 3:1 in Tallinn and remained in the game for the semi-finals.
After the match the selector Marijan Budimir he was satisfied with his team’s performance.
First, I would like to congratulate my players on the victory, na excellent presentation and his staff at a well-prepared game. Unlike the last game, where we didn’t go in very well, in this game we changed that. We scored right away in the first minutes, had a few more chances and that good start allowed us to play much easier later on. Even before the game, I said that the most important thing is to open them as early as possible, and we succeeded in that. So I think we are deservedly won the gamesaid Budimir and added:

Nik is one of our most important players, really. He played the entire qualification very well, and today he scored two beautiful goalsa. Not only that, there was also a penalty kick on it. Normally I don’t like to talk about individuals, but today he was really excellent. We managed to rest him and some other players, take them out of the game and give a chance to the players who played less or didn’t play at all, because we have a match with Spain very soon.
