Italian football expert Carlo Ancelotti (66) has extended his contract with the Brazilian Football Association until 2030, CBF announced.
Ancelotti, who took over the “Selecao” in May 2025 after leaving Real Madrid, he extended the contract for four yearsuntil the 2030 World Cup.
I arrived in Brazil a year ago. From the first minute I understood what football means to this country. We have been working for a year to bring the Brazilian national team back to the top of the world. But CBF and I want more. More wins, more time, more work. We are very happy to announce that we will continue together for another four yearsAncelotti told CBF.
Before his appointment, Brazil had changed three different coaches since Tite’s departure after the 2022 World Cup. Ancelotti is the first foreigner to lead the Selecca since the brief tenure of Argentine Filip Nuez in 1965.
