The Spanish Football Champion Barcelona hired a 24-year-old goalkeeper Joana Garcia from the Espanyol City Rival.
Garcia, who recorded as many as 146 defenses last season – which was a record effect in LA League – signed a six-year contract with Barcelona.
Espanyol said that the purchase clause in the amount of 25 million euros was activated in its contract.
Garcia defended all minutes for Espanyol last season in the championship, and now there will be competition to the German national team of Marc-Andréu Ter Stegen for the position of the first goalkeeper.
