Barcelona players beat Real Madrid 2-0 and secured the title of Spanish champion by celebrating in El Clasico.
The Catalan giant could not wish a nicer confirmation of the new championship titlealready the 29th in history, since the triumph in El Clasico.
The host needed it just a point in order to mathematically confirm the championship title. However, the wounded and shaken Real Madrid could not put up any real resistance and the Catalans won 2-0, although they could have scored points more convincingly.
The scorers for the victory were Marcus Rashford (9) i Ferran Torres (18).
Barcelona was without first star Lamine Yamal, while the other side was not Kylan Mbappe, Rodrygo, Arda Guler, Eder Militao, Dani Carvajal, and Federico Valverde who was killed in a confrontation at the Santiago Bernabeu by Aurelien Tchouameni.
Interesting, though Touchameni for participating in the incident financially penalizedhe played from the first minute. On the other hand, Barcelona had as many as nine Spanish players in its starting line-up, which is a record for El Clasico in the entire 21st century.
Before the start of the match, it was held a minute of silence for the deceased father Hansi Flick. Barcelona’s strategist managed the match, and on Monday he will travel to his homeland for the funeral.
Barcelona opened the game brilliantly, already in the ninth minute Marcus Rashford scored a great shot from a free kick from 18 meters.
