The main topic after the game is the fierce verbal attack of Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri on his colleague on the other side Cesc Fabregas.
It all started in the 80th minute when Fabregas pulled Alexis Saelemaekers in a situation where two Como players took the ball from him on the outside line in front of the visitors’ bench. Fabregas made an incredibly unsportsmanlike move after the opposing player lost the ball, and by catching Saelemaekers, he made it impossible to stop a dangerous counterattack by the visitors. Allegri went crazy at that and went after Fabregas, which caused the Milan coach to be sent off and the away coach to receive no punishment.

“The coach must not do what Fabregas did. Then next time when the opposing player is close to my line, I will slide in and take the ball from him,” Allegri said in front of television cameras on the field after the game.
In the same place, Fabregas publicly apologized: “First of all, I want to apologize. I did something I’m not proud of. I made an unsportsmanlike gesture. I was so excited that I touched the ball. As a coach, I shouldn’t have done that. I hope I never repeat that move.”
The coach of Como also apologized at the press conference: “I want to apologize again. Allegri attacked me too fiercely and it was inappropriate, but I would also be angry in that situation. I apologize to Mr. Allegri.”
