Alcaraz decided almost completely shaved his head, which caused numerous reactions and comments on social networks.
“I wanted a fresh start and something different. I think this hairstyle is exactly the spirit of the US Open,” said the smiling alcaraz after the match, explaining his sudden change.
It was as convincing on the field as otherwise – he celebrated with 6: 4, 7: 5 and 6: 4, and he only took only two hours and seven minutes for the triumph.
