Today, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo was imposed on the first instance verdict with Adema Šuman, who was charged with the murder of the 19-year Faris Pendek in January last year.
The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo declared Adem Šuma guilty of the murder of Pharis Pendek and sentenced him to a single prison sentence of 40 years, respectively, 39 years for the murder and one year for a good bodily injury.
Previously, the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office requested the shortening of a 45-year-in-law.
During the closing arguments, the Prosecutor Iva Kurilić stated that there was too much evidence in this case, and that the motive in this case did not exist as damaged and the accused did not know.
She pointed out that in this case there is no negligence and that the work is “pure imaginations”.
“The role of Saljevic was in the directions of his brother who was in contact with Šuman. He knew who,” she said, added that Šuman shot at the immediate vicinity after which he went to the cafe at his mother’s sister and girl.
The mother of the killed Faris, Erna Pendek said that he hoped for adequate punishment for “killer and helping”, but also that no punishment could make up for the loss that suffered.
In October last year, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo confirmed the indictment against Adem Šumen for the murder of Pharis Pendek.
