An emotional meeting in Podgorica attracted attention when little Dominik, a boy named after Dominik Livaković, met the Croatian national team goalkeeper.
The Croatian national football team visited Podgorica as part of the World Cup qualifiers, and an emotional meeting took place before the game.
Namely, little Dominik from Montenegro was named after Dominik Livaković. The details were revealed on social networks by the boy’s mother Marijana Rakočević.
Tonight – Dominic next to Dominic. Our son is named after Dominik Livakovića man with a big heart and an even bigger soul. When we were choosing a name for our son, we wanted him to bear the name of someone who is a fighter, someone who is good, honest, big as a person and at heart. Someone who radiates kindness and leaves a mark wherever it appears. And that’s exactly why our boy became Dominikthe mother wrote and added:
He had his own little green octopus in the incubator, just like his inspiration for the WC 2022. Little symbolism, but great love. Two fighters, two smiles, one name.
And it was in Livaković that the boy’s family found inspiration for true fighting spirit, just as Livaković fought for the Croatian jersey at the World Cup in Katro.
