Bosnia and Herzegovina representative Dženis Burnić will not play for Karsruhe in the new season.
Burnić said goodbye to the German second division team with an emotional post on Instagram, and he decided to leave in order to make a step forward in his career.
“Dear KSC family, after three beautiful years my time in KSC is coming to an end. I want to thank the fans, teammates and coaching staff. We had a togetherness that is not everyday in professional football,” Burnić wrote in his farewell message.
Janis becomes a free agent in the summer, which opens the door for him to find a new environment after the end of the current season.
He joined Karlsruher in 2023 from Heidenheim, and since then he has made 97 appearances, scoring five goals and registering seven assists.
