The football players of Sloga are the first semi-finalists of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because after the penalty shootout, they eliminated Željezničar with a score of 5:4.
In tonight’s not-so-quality match played in Doboj, Željezničar beat Slog, with a score of 1:0, but due to an identical defeat in the first match of the quarter-finals at the “Grbavica” stadium, coach Sava Milošević’s team had to settle for penalty kicks.
The goal was scored by Enes Alić in the 43rd minute, after a good action by the guests from Sarajevo, and with that result we went to the break between the two halves.
Later on, the same player had the opportunity to secure the placement of the “blues” among the top four teams in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup, but in the 63rd minute of the match, he hit the crossbar from the penalty spot.
There were no goals until the end of the match, and both had certain opportunities.
In the five-point penalty shootout, Vedad Muftić saved the shots of Sloga’s player, Benjamin Tatar. He was answered by Filip Erić, who tamed the shots of Muharem Husković and Galčev.
There was no winner until the seventh series, when Vasilije Perković scored for Sloga, and Dženan Šabić then shook the crossbar for his team’s defeat.
