As he said, the national team successfully concluded the preparatory period before the start of the World Cup, and although thoughts were already focused on the first match against Canada, the team showed a number of quality moments and confirmed that it is ready to meet the biggest challenge.
“With the match against Canada in the subconscious, we played the last preparatory match before the World Cup. There were good moments and nice moves, but the most important thing is that there were no new injuries and that we played a quality match against the selection that will also perform at the World Cup,” he said.
Zeljković emphasized that the final stage of preparations for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s historic appearance at the world fair is now coming.
“Now we are shifting our focus completely to what we are here for. We have a few more days of work, analysis and preparation of details ahead of us in order to be ready for the start of the competition and open the championship in the best possible way,” he said.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will open its appearance at the World Cup with a match against Canada, and the coaching staff and national team members will use the following days for the last tactical preparations before the start of the competition.
